How to Enable Flash Player on a PSP

Flash player is an online multimedia tool used to view videos, pictures and games. The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a hand-held device that allows you to view Flash content on its Internet browser. The ability to view Flash on the PSP is disabled when you first use your PSP, but you can turn it on with only a few button presses. This works on all PSPs, including the Slim, that are running at least the 2.70 system software.

Instructions

    • 1

Select the "Internet Browser" icon from the PSP main menu. The browser will appear after a few seconds.

    • 2

Press the "Triangle" button on the PSP game pad to bring up the browser address bar. Select the "Tools" option on the right side of the lower bar that appears.

    • 3

Select "Settings" from the small menu that appears, followed by "View Settings." Select the "Flash Player" option in the middle of the next screen. Push "Up" on the directional pad, press "X" so the option is switched to "On." Go down to "OK" and press "X."
