How to Transfer a Movie From a PC to a PSP 3000

The PSP 3000, also referred to as the PSP Slim or PSP Lite, is a portable gaming handheld that also features multimedia capabilities such as video playback. Although the PSP 3000 includes new features such a glare resistant screen, as with older PSP models, the PSP 3000 has very little internal storage space. A Memory Stick is required if you want to transfer more than one or two movies to the PSP.

      Insert the Memory Stick into the "Memory" slot on the PSP 3000. Use the USB sync cable to connect the PSP to your PC.

      Scroll to the "Settings" icon the PSP main menu. Enable "USB Connection." The autorun window on your PC will open. Click "Open folder to view files."

      Double click the "Videos" folder and drag and drop the movies you want on the PSP into the "Videos" folder. The PSP supports MPEG, DIVX, MP4 and AVI video formats.
