How to Work a PSP Slim Component Cable and PDP

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a hand-held gaming device created by Sony. It features UMD discs and features Internet access, enabling you to download games and movies from the official PlayStation Store. If you purchased a Component and PDP cable then you can also hook up the PSP to a High Definition TV.

  Plug the PSP charger into the PSP and the wall to ensure that it has constant power.

  Plug the component cable into the video slot located on the bottom left of the device.

  Plug the cables into the TV. The inputs on the TV must be component; that is, they should feature red, green and blue inputs for video alone.

  Select the component input on your TV using your remote.

  Turn the PSP on.

  Go to "Settings."

  Select "Connected Display Settings."

  Click "Yes" under "Switch Video Output." The PSP display should turn off and you will see it on the TV instead.
