A PSP core bundle is a package deal containing a PSP 3000, a memory stick and a game. There are several PSP core bundles available, and they're named after the game they include. Some PSP core bundles also include a movie.

The devices come in different colors and have the capability to route video and audio to a television. Other features include a web browser and music and video player.

- Some games included in PSP core bundles include "Ratchet and Clank," "Hannah Montana," "Assassin's Creed" and "Gran Turismo." Memory cards are often included and range in size from 1 to 4 gigabytes.

- PSP core bundles are sold at most electronics stores and may be ordered through online websites. As of October 2010, buyers may purchase the basic PSP for a price of $169, with prices increasing depending on the specific bundle.
