How to Get a Helicopter in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" for the PlayStation Portable is based on the previous "Grand Theft Auto" release on the PlayStation 2, "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City." Players can hijack and pilot a bevy of vehicles, including nimble helicopters. Unfortunately, these helicopters are difficult to find, leading many players to doubt their existence until stumbling upon one by accident. The easiest helicopter to access is located atop a police station on the eastern island.

Instructions

  Commandeer a vehicle by hijacking a nearby car.

  Drive to the eastern side of the map. Head north on the easternmost road that runs along the beach.

  Drive slowly and watch the left side of the road for a large police station. The station is positioned due east from the northern Leaf Links Island.
- 4
  Enter the front door of the police station and make your way to the roof. Do not draw any attention to yourself by bumping into anyone, as doing so will result in a bloody shootout.

  Exit the police station onto the roof. A shiny, new helicopter rests on the helipad before you.
