How to Play WMV on PSP Slim

  Click "Video File" from the main menu and select the WMV file from the window that appears.

  Enter in a name for the new video in the "Title" field. Click "Output Directory" from the top part of the open window. Select where you would like the new video saved and click "OK."

  Click "Next" to verify the settings and click "Start Converting" to convert the WMV to the PSP format.

  Click "Add file" from the main menu to open a new window. Select the WMV file and click "OK."

  Click the "+" button and select the WMV file.

  Click the "Profile" button near the bottom of the main menu and click "PSP." Click the "Browse" button near the "Destination" section of the main menu and select a place to save the new video file.

Playing the Video

  Connect the PSP to the computer with the USB cable and select "USB Connection" from the PSP main menu. A window will appear on the computer screen and you will see the files and folders on the PSP memory stick.

  Right-click on the new video file. Click "Copy" from the small menu that appears.

  Right-click the "Video" folder in the memory stick. Click "Paste" from the menu that appears. The video file will be transferred to the PSP memory stick.

  Press the "O" button on the PSP gamepad to safely disconnect it from the computer. Go into the video section of the PSP menu and select the video to play it.
