How to Charge a Flat Pandora Battery

A Pandora battery is a tool used with the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) to install custom firmware. The Pandora battery cannot be charged like a normal PSP battery. When it is placed into the PSP, the device turns on automatically and switches into service mode. Because the battery cannot charge in this mode, the Pandora battery must be inserted in the PSP after the device is turned on. There is only one way to do this.

     Remove the Pandora battery from the PSP. Insert the charger into the PSP on the lower right side of the device.

     Plug the charger into an electrical outlet, and turn on the PSP. It will open up the PSP main menu.

     Insert the Pandora battery in the PSP. The PSP will recognize it as a normal battery and begin charging it.

     Allow the Pandora battery to charge until the amber light on the right side of the PSP turns green.
