How to Set Up PSP Internet With a Wireless-G Access Point Model WAP54G

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld video-game device that was one of the first to include Wi-fi capability. The PSP can connect to any wireless router, including the Linksys WAP54G router, to open up special features. These features include PS Store connectivity and playing games online. In only a few simple steps you can get your PSP online, taking advantage of another one of the PSP's features.

Instructions

    • 1

Select the "Network Settings" icon on the far left of the PSP main menu. Select "Infrastructure Mode" from the next screen.

    • 2

Select "New Connection" and "Scan" and your PSP will look for your wireless-g router. A list of available connections will appear.

    • 4

Select "Easy" as the address settings and press the "X" button to test the internet connection. Press the "O" button to return to the PSP main menu. Your PSP is now connected to the internet.
