Instructions

  1. Repairing a PSP Button

    • 1

Unscrew the six screws on the PSP case. There are two located in the upper battery compartment, two on the back of the PSP, one under the upper left corner of the "Warranty void" sticker (also in the battery compartment), and one on the bottom of the PSP in the center.

    • 2

Remove the front faceplate of the PSP by holding the back firmly and pulling the faceplate off. This will reveal the buttons.

    • 3

Take a tissue or cotton swab and clean around the keys and underneath the buttons in the faceplate. These areas can sometimes collect dirt that will make the keys stick.

    • 4

Turn the PSP on to test the buttons. If it still does not work then you will need to replace the button.

    • 6

Replace the removed button with the new one you have purchased.

    • 7

Return the faceplate and screws back to their original positions. Turn the PSP on and test out the new button.
