How to Stream Videos on PSP from the Internet

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a portable gaming and entertainment device. The system has a built-in wireless receiver that allows it to connect to nearby wireless hotspots to access the Internet. In addition, the PSP is capable of accessing a wide range of websites and multimedia content, including sites that stream video.

Instructions

  Turn on the PSP by pressing the "power button." Locate the "Wi-fi" wireless switch on the side of the PSP device. Slide the switch to the "On" position and wait for the "Wi-Fi status" light to turn on. If prompted, select the wireless network you wish to join, such as a home wireless network or office network.

  Click on the "Settings" icon on the home screen. Click on "System Updates." Select the option to "Update." Allow the device to download the latest system updates. Wait for the system update to complete before proceeding.

  Locate and select the "Web browser" icon on the PSP home screen. Wait for the web browser to launch. Move the cursor to the "Web address" text box and select the text box.

  Use the directional pad and the "X" key to highlight and select keys on the on-screen keyboard to type in the web address from which you want to view videos. Press "X" to navigate to the website.

  Navigate the cursor to the "Play" button or link for the video on the website you want to stream.
