How to Upgrade the PSP Slim 3.71

Sony's PSP portable video game system is designed to be upgraded with system software (or firmware) updates. These updates can be downloaded from the Internet by the system itself or onto a computer connected to the PSP. If you have a PSP or PSP Slim running an old system software version, such as Firmware 3.71, it's worth running an update to ensure your PSP is compatible with the latest games and features. There are two ways this can be done.
