How to Restore a Corrupted PSP Save File

The Sony PSP games console has a large collection of games that can be played on it. As with most video game consoles, players may find that a game save can go corrupt, making the save unusable. Fortunately, It is possible to save these game saves from being permanently deleted.

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn on the PSP and connect it to the computer via USB cable.

      Find the game save on the PSP in the "DATA" folder.

    • 3

      Move the corrupted game save into a different game folder to allow the PSP to load the save from a different folder. This should repair the corrupted save.

    • 4

      Disconnect the PSP. Load the game and its save. If the game save still won't load, create a new "DATA" folder on the PSP memory stick and try the above steps again.
