How to Fix PSP Keys

It can be a very annoying experience when the keys/buttons on your Sony PSP start to jam and not work properly. This problem can make it impossible to play some games and fully use the Sony PSP to its full potential. Instead of sending the PSP to be repaired by Sony, which will cost a lot of money, take the time to effectively fix the problem yourself.

Instructions

    • 1

Take the battery pack out of the back of the PSP and use the screwdriver to unscrew the two small screws located underneath the battery pack. Put these to one side to make sure you don't lose them.

    • 2

With the screws removed, pull the PSP screen off gently and once again place it to one side.

    • 3

Use a clean cloth to wipe the area around the buttons. This will get rid of any dirt that has managed to get into the keys.

    • 4

Using the same cloth, wipe around the holes where the keys pop through, once again this will get rid of any dirt that has built up.

    • 5

Reattach the screen and battery pack, and get on with playing those games!
