How to Make Your PSP Into a GPS System

Besides opening games and media files, the Sony PSP can be used to run applications such as a GPS (Global Positioning System) service. This allows you to use your PSP for a constant, real-time updated mapping service that lets you see your position in relation to a satellite-based map, finding your way to destinations or orienting yourself next to landmarks. Using your PSP as a GPS system requires the addition of the system's GPS add-on and a compatible software application.

Things You'll Need

  • GPS Receiver add-on for PSP
