How to Download a Downgrade to 3.52 Firmware on the PSP

Downgrading a PSP requires the use of custom firmware and an augmented battery and memory stick referred to as the "magic memory stick" and the "pandora battery." Through the process of creating a pandora battery, you will also download the files necessary to downgrade a PSP to version 3.52 firmware. Installing custom firmware allows the user of the PSP to augment and install a variety of settings and programs, such as backup copies of your games.

  Go to Cory's home-brew corner. The website link is in the Resources section of this article.

  Click on the "OS Pandora Battery Tool v0.6. This will open up a dialog box for you with your download options.

  Select "Save File" and allow the file to download. Once it is downloaded it should be in your "downloads" folder if you are still on default settings. If you have changed your downloads folder then that is the folder it will be in. That is the file you will need to downgrade to 3.52 firmware.
