How to Update PSP 1000 System Software

In 2005, Sony launched its PlayStation Portable hand-held game console in North America. The system allows users to listen to music, watch movies, view pictures and play games while on the go. Since the system's launch, Sony has added a number of features, including Skype support and eBook reading, in the form of firmware updates. Thankfully, updating your PSP's firmware can be done in two different ways with each process requiring only a few steps.
