Remove the battery from the PSP and remove the four screws underneath the battery. Remove the two screws on the opposite end of the PSP battery. Remove the final screw on the bottom edge of the PSP.
Gently remove the PSP faceplate by grasping it firmly and lifting it up. Place the PSP faceplate to the side.
Place your fingernail underneath the analog stick and gently lift up to pry the analog stick off of the PSP. Spray the canned air on the analog stick and on the part of the PSP where the analog stick touches.
Place the new analog stick onto the PSP and press firmly to secure it to the PSP. Place the PSP faceplate back onto the PSP and tighten the seven screws.
Place the PSP battery back into the PSP and turn it on. Your analog stick is now fully functional once again.
