Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove any UMD disks or memory storage devices from your PSP.
Remove the battery cover and battery from the device. Place these items off to the side in a safe place.
Remove all four screws positioned under the battery. Place the screws in an upturned lid or small cup to avoid losing them.
Remove the both screws positioned on the rear faceplate and any screws positioned along the upper edge. There are three different versions of the PSP, and there are slight differences in screw number and location in this regard.
Pull the faceplate away from the main body with a gentle tug once all screws are removed. Place the faceplate on a soft towel to avoid scratching the surface.
Look along the left edge of the unit for the WLAN switch. Use your screwdriver or a pair of tweezers to realign the switch into the track slot.
Replace the faceplate, screws, battery and battery cover.
Turn on your PSP and test the WLAN switch. If the switch lights up after being moved upward, your PSP's wireless capability is activated and functional.
