How do I Connect Internet to a PSP Playstation Portable?

The PSP includes a built-in Wi-Fi adapter that can be used to connect to a wireless Internet connection. The PSP lacks an Ethernet port, eliminating the possibility of a wired connection. A PSP connected to the Internet has access to the Playstation store, multiplayer gaming (in the games that support it) and downloadable content. You will need to know the name of your wireless network (SSID), password (if any) and any other information required to connect to your wireless Internet connection.
