Things You'll Need
Instructions
Check that there is no memory card or disc placed inside your PSP by looking in the appropriate drives or areas prior to turning off the device. Turn off the PSP by sliding its "Power" button on its right side.
Remove the battery found inside its compartment at the back of your PSP. Use your fingers to peel of the label inside your battery compartment, where you will find the screws locking the back case of your PSP.
Extract the screw found at the bottom of your PSP right beside its product label, using your screwdriver to turn the screw counterclockwise.
Unscrew the four other screws found in every corner of your battery compartment with your screwdriver. Do the same step for the two other screws right at the top right corner as well as the bottom right edge at the back of the PSP.
Separate the bottom case of your PSP from the faceplate by pulling the plate with your fingers. Use your plastic wedge to pry the pieces apart in case you have trouble separating them. This will remove the back case of your PSP and give you access to its interior components.
