How to Install GPS on PSP

PSP owners can install GPS with the new PSP-290 GPS receiver accessory. PSP-290 GPS receivers are currently only sold online and simply attach to your PSP system. Use the PSP-290 GPS receiver for navigation or with the new PSP action games that it is designed to work with.

  Find reliable online stores selling the PSP-290 GPS receiver accessory (see Resources). Purchase from trusted sellers only, when buying from auction sites. Compare prices online to find cheaper prices on the PSP-290 GPS.

  Mount the PSP-290 GPS receiver accessory to the top of your PSP. Fasten both screws to secure the adapter in place. Use your fingers to tighten the screws without need of a screwdriver. Insert the "Go! Express" software installation UMD into the disc tray. Install the "Go! Express" software to your PSP.

  Choose your preferred language from the 11 languages listed on screen. Configure your program settings for use with your adapter. Remove the installation UMD. Test your new program to check that it is functioning properly. Run the "Find and Go Easy Search" to select a destination.
