How to Find the Mac Address of a PSP

As a network-capable device, the Sony PlayStation Portable features the inclusion of a Media Access Control, or MAC, address for each individual hand-held system. A MAC address is a unique, unchangeable number assigned to a device for identification while connecting to a network. Every individual piece of hardware features an exclusive MAC address, determined by the manufacturer following universal standards established by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

     Press the left directional button on the PSP to navigate to the Settings portion of the PSP main menu.

     Highlight "System Settings" from the Settings menu column and press the "X" button.

     Highlight "System Information" and press the "X" button. The PSP MAC address will be displayed in the system information.
