How to Use a PlayStation 3 Wireless Headset

All wireless peripherals (including headsets) must first be synced (or "paired") to the PS3 before it will function properly. Once paired, you can use the wireless headset with any game or application (e.g. PS3 Home) that supports headsets. While there are official and third-party wireless headsets available, almost any Bluetooth headset will work with the PS3 using the Bluetooth paring mode. The latest PS3 firmware update is required if you want to use automatic pairing. Bluetooth pairing will work with any version of the PS3.
