Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn the PSP onto its front with the LCD screen facing downwards. Remove the battery from the battery bay to reveal four screws. Remove these screws with the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the two screws on the opposite end of the battery bay and a final screw on the bottom edge of the PSP.
Gently remove the faceplate from the PSP and place to the side. Insert a flat-head tool in between the PSP screen and the screen bracket. Twist slightly to pop the screen tabs out of the bracket. Fold the screen down 90 degrees.
Unplug the two cables that are connecting the screen to the PSP motherboard. Remove the PSP screen from the PSP and insert your new screen into the PSP at the same 90-degree angle.
Plug the two cables back in and fold the screen into the PSP until it snaps into the screen bracket. Place the PSP faceplate back onto the PSP and tighten the seven screws.
Turn the PSP back on after reinserting the battery.
