Instructions
Download and extract Wi-Fi Controller.
Plug your PSP into your computer using the provided USB cable. When the prompt appears, click on "Open Folder to View Files." Go to "PSP" then "Game" and copy the "Wi-Fi Controller" folder into here.
Navigate to "PSP/GAME/WiFiController" and select the "Wi-Fi" file. Open this file with Notepad.
Replace the digit code "192.168.0.10" with your computer&'s IP address, save the file then close it. To find your IP address, type "cmd" into the search bar at the bottom of the main menu--a black box will then appear. In here enter the phrase "ipconfig," you will then be provided with your IP address.
Download and install PPJOY.
Go to the "Start" menu, open "Control Panels" and "Switch to Classic View."
Open "Parallel Port Controller" and press "Add," select "Controller 1" and press "Add."
Select "PPjoy Virtual Joystick 1" and click on the "Mapping" button.
Select "Set Custom Mapping for this Controller" and press next.
Select 2 from the drop down list for "Axis," 9 from the drop down list for "Buttons" and 1 for "POV Hats." Press next and change "X Axis" to "Analog 0" and "Y Axis" to "Analog 1."
Change the button settings thus: Button 1 = Nothing; Button 2 = Digital 0; Button 3 = Digital 1; Button 4 = Digital 2; Button 5 = Digital 3; Button 6 = Digital 4; Button 7 = Digital 5; Button 8 = Digital 11; Button 9 = Digital 10. Then press "Next."
Change the directional settings: North = Digital 6; East = Digital 7; South = Digital 8; West = Digital 9. Press "Next."
Click "Finish" to save these settings.
Go to the downloaded "Wi-Fi Controller" folder, open "PC" and then "WiFiServer." Leave this file open.
Turn on your PSP and run the application called "WiFiController."
Go to "Control Panel," select "Game Controllers" and select "PPJoy Virtual Joystick 1." Press "Properties," select the "Settings" tab and "Calibrate" your PSP with the PC.
