Turn the PSP off and remove the battery and memory stick. Insert the Magic memory stick and Pandora battery. The PSP will turn on automatically. Press the "X" button twice to install custom firmware. Press the "X" button once more to shut the PSP down when the firmware installation is complete. Reinsert the standard battery and memory stick into the PSP.
Turn the PSP back on and connect it to your computer with the USB cable. Your PSP will automatically go into USB mode and you will be presented with a window on your computer showing you the files on the PSP memory stick.
Download one of the homebrew games from the resource link in this guide. Right-click the homebrew game after it has downloaded onto your computer. Open the "PSP" folder on the PSP memory stick and you will see the "GAME" folder.
Right-click the "GAME" folder and click "Paste" to transfer the homebrew game to your PSP. Press the "O" button on the PSP to disconnect it safely from the computer.
Go into the PSP game section of the PSP main menu and you will see the new game that you just installed. Select it with the "X" button to begin playing.
