How to Make a Magic Memory Stick Without a PSP Fat

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is an all-in-one portable media/video gamer player. It comes pre-installed with the official Sony firmware, which runs the PSP. You can also install alternate, or "custom," firmware onto the PSP. To install custom firmware, you must first make a Magic Memory Stick, using your computer. Previously, you had to use a first generation PSP, known as a PSP Fat, to create the Magic Memory Stick.
