How to Fix Scratches on a PSP Faceplate with Stainless Steel Cleaner

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) comes equipped with a sleek LCD screen on which to view the games you play. But even though this screen is covered by a faceplate, it is still prone to damage and scratches. If you have a scratched PSP, using stainless steel cleaner to fix the scratches is a quick and easy process.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the PSP off and remove any games from the console. Place the PSP face-up on a sturdy work surface like a desk or table.

    • 2

Dab your microfiber cloth (available from any electronics or computer supply store) with stainless steel cleaner, but be careful not to drench it. You want it to be damp but not dripping.

    • 3

Work your way around the surface of the PSP in a circular motion, applying medium pressure over the visible scratches on the surface of the faceplate.

    • 4

Work your way over the scratches until they are removed from the faceplate.
