How to Update a PSP With No Memory Stick

The Playstation Portable (PSP) is often provided with system software updates by Sony to add new features and correct errors in the operating system. An update can be accomplished by using a recent PSP game disc. PSP game discs, whether made by Sony or a third party, contain the latest Sony update to install in the PSP. The updating procedure can be done without a memory stick or the Internet. Updating the PSP through a PSP game disc does not void the PSP’s warranty in any way.
