Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the battery from the PSP to reveal four screws underneath. Remove the four screws and two more screws on the opposite end of the PSP. Remove the last screw on the bottom edge of the console.
Use your fingernails to pry off the broken analog stick. Gently lift the faceplate off of the PSP and place it aside. Spray the analog stick with canned air to prevent it from sticking.
Place the faceplate back onto the PSP and secure the new analog stick into the analog space. Because the space for the analog stick is smaller than the actual analog stick, you need to perform the switch with the faceplate back in place.
Tighten the seven screws and place the battery back into the PSP. Turn the PSP back on and your replacement analog stick should work properly.
