How to Connect an Xbox Controller to a PSP

Since the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) has the ability to connect to any USB ports through the use of a simple cable, it stands to reason that any number of USB devices can be connected to the PSP. Much like the PSP camera accessory, the USB device can be connected to the PSP's Mini-B port located on top of the device. However, if you wish to connect an Xbox controller to a PSP, you need to make use of a few adapters.

• Xbox-to-USB adapter
• USB male-to-female adapter

     Connect your Xbox controller to the port in your Xbox-to-USB adapter.

   • 2

     Connect the USB end of your Xbox-to-USB adapter to one of the female ports on your USB female-to-female adapter.

   • 3

     Connect the USB end of your Mini-B-to-USB cable to the other female port on your USB female-to-female adapter. This cord should come with your PSP console.

   • 4

     Connect the Mini-B end of the cable to the Mini-B port on top of your PSP.
