Power on the PSP and select the "Settings" icon on the home screen.
Select "Network Settings" and press the "x" button on the PSP.
Select the "Infrastructure Mode" option and click the "x" button on the PSP.
Highlight "New Connection" and press the "x" button.
Select "Scan" on the WLAN Settings menu. The PSP will now scan for the nearest access point, which in this case will be the AT&T network router. All other access points within range will also be listed.
Select the access point you want to connect to. Press the "x" button.
Select "MySSID" and press the "x" button.
Select the WLAN Security Setting. The type of setting depends on the AT&T router. Pick the setting that coincides with the router and press the "x" button. If you select one of the WPA settings, you will be asked to enter a network key or password. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the key, then press the "x" button on the PSP.
Highlight "Easy" on the Basic Internet Settings menu. Press the "x" button.
Enter a name for the connection using the onscreen keyboard on the "Enter the connection name" screen. You may prefer to name the connection "AT&T," or choose another name. The name is only for your reference. Press the "forward" button on the PSP to continue.
Review the settings. Press the "x" button. Select "Test Internet Connection" when prompted and the PSP should then connect to the wireless AT&T router.
