Install and enable DLNA-compatible media-streaming software on your computer. DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is a digital protocol that allows a number of different devices to connect and share information. Make sure your media streaming software supports DLNA.
Connect your PS3 and computer to the same wireless or local area network.
Enable the Media Server Connection option on your PS3. This option is located under the "Network Settings" panel of the "Settings" column of the PS3 main menu. Your PS3 should automatically locate media shared on your PC. If it does not, select the "Search for Media Servers" option under the Music, Pictures or Video tab.
Pair your PSP and PS3. On your PS3, select "Settings," then "Remote Play Settings," then "Register Device." Select your PSP from the list. You may need to connect your PSP and PS3 using a USB cable for this step.
Enable the "Remote Start" option on your PS3, located under "Remote Play Settings" in the "Settings" panel.
Put your PS3 in Standby mode. The PS3 enters Standby mode when you turn it off. If the PS3&'s power indicator light is red, it&'s in Standby.
Select "Connect via Internet" on your PSP from under "Network," then "Remote Play," and select your PS3 from the list.
Log into the PS3 using your PlayStation Network account. Your PSP should now display your PS3&'s home screen.
Select the music you wish to play from under the "Music" tab of the main menu.
