How to Remove a Stuck PSP Memory Stick

The memory stick you put inside of the Sony PlayStation Portable sometimes gets stuck. This occurs for any number of reasons, but usually because of pushing too hard when inserting the memory stick into the PSP card reader. There is an easy way to get the memory stick out of the PSP without damaging it.

Instructions

      Turn the Sony PSP off and remove the battery from the rear of the device.

      Open the PSP memory stick bay.

    • 3

      Push the memory stick in. You should hear a slight click. The memory stick should pop out. This is the PSP memory stick mechanism.

      Use your tweezers to grab the edge of the memory stick if it does not pop out. Pull gently outward until the memory stick is released from the card reader.
