How to Use T-Mobile Internet on PSP

There are thousands of T-Mobile Wi-Fi HotSpots all around the world and now you can use them to get your Sony PlayStation Portable online for Internet browsing and online gaming or just to send messages to your friends through the PlayStation Network. As long as you&'ve got the latest software updates for your PSP system, you can connect to any T-Mobile HotSpot. The process is as easy as connecting to any other wireless Internet access point.

      Update your PSP&'s system software before attempting to log on at a HotSpot. You can do this by using your home wireless Internet connection; just go to the Settings menu and select "System Update" to download the latest version of the PSP software. You can also download the update onto your computer and transfer it to your PSP using a USB cable. Just copy the update file to the GAME folder in your PSP&'s memory stick.

      Visit a T-Mobile HotSpot. There are over 45,000 locations across the world, 10,000 of which are in the United States; for a list of locations, visit hotspot.t-mobile.

      Power on your PSP and go to "Network Settings" under the Settings menu on the XMB home menu. Choose "Infrastructure Mode" and select "[New Connection]." On the next screen, choose "Wireless Hotspot" and choose the T-Mobile HotSpot option from the list on the following screen. Follow the onscreen prompts to set up an account with the T-Mobile HotSpot service and connect to the Internet.
