Instructions
Lay the rear housing of the PSP in front of you and fit the motherboard in the left side of the housing so that the green circuits are facing up.
Locate the speaker ribbon in the bottom left corner of the housing and plug it into the connector in the bottom left corner of the motherboard.
Locate the orange UMD flex cable in the center of the housing and plug it into the port on the right side of the motherboard.
Fit the rectangular Wi-Fi antenna in its compartment in the right side of the housing.
Place the yellow, cylindrical power plug in its place just under the Wi-Fi antenna and replace the single screw that secures it to the motherboard.
Fit the plastic PSP triggers in their compartments on the top left and right sides of the housing.
Place the smaller rectangular circuit board and plug its connector cable into the port on the right side of the main motherboard.
Fit the directional pad in its place in the top left corner of the housing, over the motherboard. Replace the single screw on the left side of the directional pad that holds it to the board and connect the directional pad cable to the port on the top left side of the motherboard.
Fit the metal screen frame over the center of the housing and replace the nine corner screws that secure it to the housing.
Place the LCD screen face down underneath the PSP housing and connect the thick orange screen cable to the port in the middle of the motherboard. It will be exposed in the metal frame.
Flip the LCD screen up and fit it in the metal frame. Use your screwdriver to pop the four tabs on the frame corners up to secure the screen.
Replace the rectangular button bar just below the LCD screen and snap it into place at the edges.
Fit the front housing over the back housing and snap it into place at the corners.
Turn the PSP over and replace the four screws inside the battery compartment, the two screws on the top and bottom sides of the unit, and the single screw on the underside of the unit.
