How to Play Movies on PSP Memory Stick

The PlayStation Portable is a mobile gaming and multimedia device. Users can watch movies on the PSP by inserting a UMD disk or downloading movies on a computer to a Duo memory stick. Once the movies are saved on the memory stick, they can be viewed on the PSP. Videos must be formatted in either MP4 or AVI in order for the PSP to play them.

Instructions

      Insert the Duo memory stick into the PSP device and power the device on.

      Select the "Video" icon (filmstrip) from the home screen.

      Choose the medium that the video is saved on. In this case, choose the "Memory Stick" icon.

      Browse movies saved on the memory stick until you find the movie you want to view. Select it with the "X" button on the PSP. The video will begin to play. Pause or stop the movie with the "X" button.
