How to Hook a PSP Up to a DVD Player

The Sony PSP offers a very clear LCD display of its own for playing games and videos. However, if you need a bigger screen (such as showing a group something on your PSP), one alternative to the small LCD screen is to hook up your PSP to a device such as a DVD player, which can then transfer the PSP display to a TV set.

Instructions

      Connect the 3.5mm end of the PSP cable to the PSP Slim's output jack.

      Connect the composite end to the relevant ports on the back of the DVD player. Be sure to align each color on the jacks with their respective ports.

      Set the TV to the auxiliary display for the DVD player.

    • 4

      Press and hold the "Display" button on the PSP until the screen disappears. This transfers the PSP display to the DVD player.
