How to Transfer PSX Games to PSP

In December 1994, Sony released the PlayStation console entertainment system, offering fun, high quality games for its users. Twelve years and three game consoles later, many of those games were still in high demand, and Sony began to make them available for download on the PlayStation Network Store.
The PSP, Sony's handheld gaming system, is powerful enough to run these re-released PlayStation games, and they can be copied to the mobile system from any PlayStation 3 that has downloaded them already.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the PSP and the PS3.

    • 2
Use a USB to mini USB cable connection.

Connect your PSP to your PS3 using the USB cable.
The mini USB end plugs into the PSP, and the other end plugs into a USB slot on the front of the PS3. One of these should have come packaged with your PS3.

Change your PSP to USB mode.
To do this, navigate on the PSP main menu all the way to the left, and select the "USB Connection" option from that column.

On your PS3, navigate to the game you wish to copy. Press the "triangle" button, and select "Copy" from the menu that comes up. Select your PSP from the available options as the destination to copy the files.

Select the copied game from the menu on your PSP. It should now be playable.
