Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert a memory stick duo into the dedicated port on your PSP. Ensure that your console has sufficient free space on its internal memory drive (if you are using a flip-open PSPgo model). Select the "Game" option from the PSP's main menu and then highlight "Memory Stick" to see how much space is available on your memory stick duo.
Connect your PSP to a wireless network by entering the "System" menu on the far left side of the main screen. Select "Network Connection," followed by "Infrastructure Mode" and then press the "X" button. Locate the wireless network you want to use to connect to the Internet, then enter the WPA key (network password), if applicable. Your PSP will now connect to the wireless network you have specified.
Open the Internet browser by selecting the option of the same name from the far right of the PSP's main menu screen. Using the navigation bar at the top of the screen, enter the URL of the site from which you wish to download your game tutorial, or the address of a search engine to enter a keyword search for your game tutorial of choice.
Download your desired game tutorial, ensuring that it is in a format that can be read by the PSP. According to Sony's PlayStation Knowledge Center, for video tutorials these types are MPEG-4, AVI and H.264. If your tutorial has an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed option, select the RSS icon and press "X" to store the feed to your PSP for later viewing.
Locate the downloaded game tutorial video, audio or text file on your PSP's memory stick by connecting your PSP to your personal computer using the USB cable. Select "USB Connection" from the "System Settings" menu to initiate communication between your PSP and PC. On your PC's main drive, you will see a removable media option-- this is your PSP's Memory Stick Duo. Enter the name of your game tutorial file in a directory search to locate the downloaded file. If your game tutorial is saved in a text format such as ".doc" or ".pdf," you must use your personal computer to view the tutorial, since the PSP does not support these formats.
