Instructions

    • 1

Connect the PSP console to your computer with the USB connector. The thin 5-pin end goes into the port at the top, and the wider end will fit into any of the unused USB ports on the front of your computer.

    • 2

      Power on the PSP console.

    • 3

Press the Home button, and navigate the Home menu all the way to the left to find the "Settings" section. Scroll up to the "USB connection" function, and press "X" to start it.

    • 4

Double click the MemoryStik Pro Duo icon that appears on your computer to open it in Finder or Explorer. It may appear under My Computer, depending on how your computer is set up.

    • 5

Open the "Music" folder on the MemoryStik media. Right click to create folders, and name the folders. You might want to name it the artist&'s name and album title. The system will only accept a single level of folders--so you cannot make folders within them or the PSP won&'t be able to find them.

    • 6

Drag and drop the music you want to keep in that folder into the folder. If you have music files on your computer that you want to copy, open a new Finder or Explorer window, locate those files, and drag them into the PSP folder.

    • 7

Press the "Circle" button on the PSP console to disconnect it from the computer. When you scroll to the "Music" section on the PSP home screen, you&'ll find the folders you organized earlier.
