How to Replace an LCD on a PSP-1001

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) came in a few different variations, including the PSP-1001. These portable gaming consoles use an LCD screen as a display. Over time, pixels on these LCDs can start to burn out, leaving you with a polka-dot pattern of missing pixels, making the display annoying or even difficult to look at. Fortunately, some companies sell replacement LCD screens, and you can replace it yourself with just a little bit of time and the right tools.
