How to Charge the Battery Faster on a PSP

The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a video game device released in 2005 and updated several times since. All PSPs charge in the same way, but charging your PSP to a full battery level can sometimes take hours. To cut down on the time, there is a simple method you can use.

      Locate your PSP charger and plug it into a wall outlet. Connect the power supply to the PSP power cable.

      Connect the PSP power cable into the PSP charging port on the lower right side of the PSP.

      Slide the PSP power button up for five seconds. This will turn the PSP completely off. If you simply slide the power button up for a second, the PSP will go into sleep mode, preventing you from charging the PSP as quickly as possible.
