How to Repair Flash on a PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) has an Adobe flash player plugin that can be used on the PSP browser. It is frequently updated and placed into the PSP firmware updates. If you feel your PSP flash player is not working up to snuff, install the latest PSP firmware update.

      Turn on your Sony PSP and wait for the PSP to boot into its main menu.

      Navigate through the PSP main menu and select the "System Update" option from the far left of the menu. Select "Update Via Internet" and press the "X" button until the PSP is updated.

      Press the "X" button to reboot the PSP and you will be brought back to the PSP main menu. The Adobe flash plugin will have been updated.
