How to Install a PSP USB to the Internet

One of the more convenient features of the Sony PlayStation Portable video game console is its ability to connect to a personal computer for file transfer via the PSP USB cable. If you are experiencing problems connecting your PSP to the computer using your USB cable, chances are you've forgotten to place your PSP into "USB Mode." Placing the PSP into USB mode is simply a matter of navigating the PSP main menu screen.

     Turn on your Sony PSP.

     Place the USB cable connector into the top of the PSP and insert the other end into your computer's USB port.

     Proceed to the left of the PSP's main menu using the directional pad and stop on "System Settings."

     Scroll down and select "USB Connection" with the "X" button. This will place your PSP into "USB Mode" and your computer will recognize the device as an additional drive.
