How to Repair NAND on a PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable's important system files that enable the PSP to work properly are the called the NAND. When these become corrupted, they can be fixed by reinstalling them onto your PSP. This can be done with a Pandora battery and Magic Memory Stick.

  • Pandora battery
  • Magic Memory Stick

Instructions

      Turn off the PSP and remove the battery and memory stick.

      Insert your Pandora Magic Memory Stick into your PSP followed by the Pandora battery. The PSP will turn on and you will be presented with the Pandora menu.

      Select "NAND Operations" from the main menu. Select "ID Storage Tools" and select your region. Select "Get Real Mac" and the PSP's IDstorage will be reinstalled.

      Select "Restore NAND" and your PSP NAND will be restored. Select "Reboot Device."
