Sharing Your Internet Connection with Connectify
Download Connectify using the link in Resources. Double-click the file you downloaded to install it onto your computer.
Start your dial-up Internet and wait for it to connect. Open Connectify and enter in a Wi-Fi name into the "WiFi Name" box. Enter a password for your connection in the next box down.
Click the "Internet" drop-down menu and click "Dial-Up." Click the "Start Hotspot" button at the bottom of the Connectify window. Continue to Section 3.
Sharing Your Internet Connection
Turn on your computer and click the "Start" button. Click the "Control Panel" icon and "Network Connections." You will see the list of network connections, including the dial-up connection.
Right-click the dial-up connection and click "Properties" from the menu that appears. A new window will appear. Click "Advanced" or "Sharing" and click "Allow other users to connect through this computer's Internet connection."
Select "Wireless Adapter" as the network adapter you want to share your Internet from. Your PSP can only connect through Wi-Fi.
Connecting the PSP
Select "Network Settings" on your PSP menu. Select "Infrastructure Mode" and "New Connection."
Select "Scan" and select the Wi-Fi hotspot you just created with Connectify. Enter in the password for the connection and select "Easy" for the "Address Settings."
Select "Test Connection" to test the dial-up connection and save the settings.
