How to Get Wireless Internet on a PSP Using Linksys

The Sony PSP can go online to play video games and to download games directly onto the PSP memory stick. Getting online is very easy and can be done with any wireless router, including the Linksys brand. Once online, your PSP will be opened up to many new features.

Instructions

      Turn on your Sony PSP and select "Network Settings" from the main menu. Select "Infrastructure Mode" and "New Connection."

      Select "Scan" and your PSP will search for your wireless network. Make sure you are within at least twenty feet of the Linksys router.

      Select your wireless network and select "Easy" for the address settings. Press the "X" button to verify your settings and to test the connection. You are now connected to your wireless network.
