How to Load KeepVid Videos on Your PSP

The Sony PSP can play MP4 video files on its large display. KeepVid is a site that allows you to download online videos from sites like Youtube. You can download the video file as an MP4 file and then transfer the video file to your PSP to be viewed from the portable device. All you need is a USB cable.

  Locate the video you want to download from YouTube and copy its URL. The URL is the website address that appears in the "Location" bar in your browser.

  Browse to KeepVid.com and enter video URL into the URL box on the KeepVid website. Click "Download" and click "Download MP4" from the list that appears.

  Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cable and select "USB Connection" from the PSP main menu. A window will appear on your computer. Click "View files/folders" and you will see the folders on your PSP memory stick.

  Copy the MP4 video file that you downloaded from KeepVid and paste it into the "VIDEO" folder on your PSP memory stick. When the transfer completes, press the "O" button on the PSP gamepad to disconnect the PSP safely from the computer.

  Navigate through the PSP main menu and select the video that you just transferred to the PSP from the PSP video section. Your video will begin to play.
