How Can I Play My PSP Slim on My TV?

The Sony Playstation Portable Slim is an updated version of the original PSP. Other than being thinner and lighter, the PSP Slim boasts a few other features that the original PSP does not. One of them is the ability to output video to a TV and play your PSP games on a bigger screen. With merely a PSP video out cable, you can be playing your PSP games on your TV in no time.

  Turn the Sony PSP Slim on and insert your PSP game into the PSP drive. The drive is located on the rear of the PSP Slim.

  Connect your PSP Slim output cable to the PSP Slim output port. Connect the other ends of the cable to your TV in the appropriate port. You can use your TV's component, AV or S-video ports, depending on which cable you have.

  Turn on the TV and turn it to the appropriate input that the PSP Slim is connected to. Locate the "Display" button on the front of the PSP Slim and push it. Hold it down for five seconds and the PSP Slim output will switch to the TV.

  Select your game from the PSP Slim menu and it will start. Use the PSP Slim game pad as the controller while the video is displayed on the TV.
